Do you have a minimum order requirement?

Yes, our minimum order is 20 cards, increasing in increments of 5 (i.e. 20, 25, 30, 35 etc…). If you order larger quantities the unit price becomes cheaper. Please click here to view our price list and quantities to help you make the right decision.

What is included in your price per card?
  • Choice of 1 card design from our online card gallery (if you’d like to see more than 1 option drafted, additional design fees will incur)
  • Editing of your supplied photograph ~ this includes basic photo editing/enhancement i.e. removal of blemishes, red eyes … (You will need to note these requests in your order otherwise it will be presumed that you’re happy with the photo as it stands). Any major Photoshop editing will be quoted on a per job basis (i.e. extending your photo, adding and removing elements from your image, etc…)
  • PDF email proof(s) for you to view, request any changes if they are required and approve
  • Professionally printed photo on matte archival paper
  • Quality white presentation card with handy pre-cut corners for your photo to slide and sit neatly in, and copy space to write your own personal message of thanks
  • FREE quality white envelopes designed to fit our photo cards
  • FREE 20x40mm magnets for the rear of your presentation cards
  • FREE Online tracking of your order with Australia Post (where applicable). (Please note: postage and handling is charged, click here to view delivery charges and information).

Can I purchase magnets with my order?

Magnets to your quantity of cards ordered are included free, but if you need more, then they are an additional 10c per magnet. Please click here to email us your request of additional magnets. (Please note: If you want additional magnets, then they must be dispatched at the time of the order, otherwise there will be an additional postage charge – POA).

I’d like to get the envelopes, magnets and backing cards early before my order so I can write my special message on each one and address them. Is this possible?

Certainly is. You can pre-order either one or all of the above-mentioned items to assist you with your organisation on your paid order. Please click here to email us your request of early bird items. Postage costs will be quoted on request to cover early postage.

What are your postage fees?

Click here to view delivery and postage charges. We use Australia Post Parcel Post Plus (Regular delivery) & Express Post satchels, which have FREE online tracking (where available).

I live overseas, are you able to post my order internationally?

We certainly can. Please click here to email us for a shipping quote first before placing your order with us. We will contact you as soon as we have a price from Australia Post.

What type of paper are the photo cards printed on?

We use a reputable photographic lab to professionally print our personalised photo cards on archival-quality matte photo paper, which ensures long-lasting quality. Our card designs and print quality is striking – creating the distinction you want (…and be the talk of the town of course)!

What paper stock are the presentation cards printed on?

Our presentation cards are custom designed with pre-cut corners. We’ve chosen a beautiful thick white 300gsm paper stock. The presentation card adds weight to the photo card which is suitable for mailing, hanging on a fridge, leaning up against a wall for display purposes or pinning it on a pin-board – the choices are endless.

Will I need tape to stick my photo card to the backing card?

No, the die-cut corners do all the work for you. They will hold the card in position.

Can I write my own special message on the rear of the presentation card?

You certainly can. In fact, we encourage you to do this. We have provided you with plenty of copy space for you to write you own message of thanks or about your baby. We highly advise that you write on your presentation card before inserting the photo in front so you don’t end up with text imprints on your precious card. Please note: Our presentation card displays a small helloBABY Designs logo at the very bottom of the card.

How do I place an order?

Please click here and it will take you to our ‘how to order’ page. It will walk you through the order process step-by-step. If you’re yet to choose a card design, please view our range of designs in our catalogues by clicking on the topics over to the left (i.e. Announcement Cards, Birthday Invitations, etc…). Once you’ve found a design that you love, simply click the “order” button under that card design and it will walk you through the order process.

Will you send me a proof before my cards are printed?

Yes. All orders receive an email PDF proof sent to your nominated email address for you to approve. If you have any changes you would like to make, please let us know at this time and a revised proof will be sent. Once you approve the proof it is FINAL and goes to print. We encourage you to carefully check the proof for mistakes (i.e. spelling errors, etc) as we are not responsible for any errors once the proof is approved by you.

Please Note: We are happy to amend your proof until you are 100% happy, however after 3 amendments have been issued we do charge an additional $15.00 per amended proof issued to you.

How long does it take to receive my cards?

Upon receipt of your order via our website,  you will be sent an ‘order confirmation’ email. Once we receive your payment and images, within 2-3 business days from receiving payment you will receive a PDF proof for approval. Once we receive final sign-off from you, you can expect your cards in approximately 1 week (3 business days for us to print and dispatch and 1-5 business days for Australia Post to deliver it to your door). If your order is urgent, or you are working to a specific deadline, please let us know these details when you place your order.

If I’m unhappy with my order, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately no. Because our products are personalised specifically for you, we do not refund unless there is a problem with the order due to our error after FINAL approval. Please contact us if there is a problem as we don’t want you to be dissatisfied.

Unfortunately, I need to cancel my order, what is your cancellation policy?
  • If we have not commenced work on your order – there will be no charge and a full refund will occur
  • If we have begun work but no proof has been sent – a 25% cancellation charge will apply
  • If you have been emailed 1 proof – a 50% cancellation charge will apply
  • If you have been emailed 2 or more proofs – a 75% cancellation charge will apply
  • If you have approved the proof and your order has been printed – you will be charged the full amount and no refund will apply. In this circumstance, we will dispatch your order to you.

Will the colours of my ordered photo cards be exactly what I see on my computer screen?

The colour of your cards may differ slightly from what you see on your monitor as everyone’s computer, printer and other output devices have varying colour calibrations and profiles set within their system which we cannot control. All efforts are made to minimize this, but unfortunately we cannot be held responsible as it is beyond our control. Please contact us if you need any further information regarding this.

I really love two of your designs and can’t decide on which one, can you draft up both options?

Yes we certainly can, but you will incur a design fee of $35- for the 2nd design, or for any additional card designs we draft up for you. We are happy to make changes to your selected design, such as colour and/or fonts when requested at no extra cost. However, any further layout changes or additional card designs and proofs will incur additional design fees. If you require further clarification, please contact us via our online form.

Are you able to alter one of your announcement card designs, to become a birthday or christening/baptism invitation ?

Yes, we can amend any of our existing designs to suit just about any occasion. Simply let us know the design you like from our range, make payment, let us know all your details via our online form (you can note all your requests in the comment box on the order form) and we’ll have a sample “Birthday/Christening” card over to you as soon as we can.

I’m having twins/triplets, and I don’t see any designs that suit multiple babies?

Congratulations! And yes, we certainly can accommodate your request. We do have some examples we’ve done for clients previously that we can email you, but unfortunately we just haven’t had the time to add them to our catalogue of designs on our website yet… (we do hope to do this shortly).

Simply drop us an email to studio@hellobabydesigns.com.au and we’ll send your over some samples to review.

Once you’ve chosen a design you like from our email catalogue (or we can certainly modify one of our other designs in our ranges to suit your needs), place your order with us online, make your payment, send us your images, and we’ll have a PDF proof over to you as soon as we can for your perusal and approval.

I’ve got a particular design/theme in mind and you don’t have it in your catalogue of designs. Can you custom design an announcement card / invitation for me?

Yes, we certainly can custom create a design for your needs. If you have a particular party theme in mind or an idea you would like for your announcement cards or Christening invitations, please provide us with your ideas along with a written brief (and any visual samples, i.e. colour pallets, etc) and we’ll provide you with a written quote and time frame for the development of your design.  Note: At times we can get booked out months in advance (as we only allow a certain amount of custom designs per month) so please check availabilities with us.

We know you can appreciate that custom designs can sometimes take days to create (as we want it to be absolutely perfect!) and we’re sure you understand the time spent on the design element of each custom order. So it if for this reason that we quote on each job individually and as a ‘time spent’ creating your custom request.

Prices (quotes) for custom work begin at $75- and are capped at $250- per design.

How much will it cost to post my announcements to my family and friends?

Australia post will charge you the standard 60c per envelope. Only at Christmas time do they have a special rate for cards. Click here to visit the Australia Post website for more information.

Can you please post me a catalogue of your designs?

To keep our costs low and affordable, we use our website as our catalogue, which is regularly updated with exciting new designs and products. Please sign up to our mailing list to be notified of new additions to our range.

What format & size do you prefer me to send my photo(s) in? And, do you prefer via email or post?

We prefer a digital image, via email, in a .jpg (jpeg) format at 300dpi or 1800 x 1200pixels (a minimum file size 1mb). Please do NOT compress your image, leave it at the maximum setting if you can. We are also happy to accept other forms i.e. tiff, eps, scanned photos emailed or hard copy of photos posted to us. Please note: if you post your photos to us, we will send your photos back with your finished order. Click here for our contact details and postal address.

Am I able to order more announcement cards if I don’t have enough?

Yes, we keep your artwork on file in the event that you need more cards. For easy re-ordering simply email us your request, along with your details (i.e. name, contact details, job ID if you know it, etc…) to studio@hellobabydesigns.com.au and we will be in-touch with a quote before proceeding with the order.

Should I order a few extra cards than what I actually need?

We recommend you order 5 extra cards, so you’re prepared for any cards or gifts you didn’t expect to receive.

What payment methods do you accept?

We have two easy payment choices available (Our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST):

  • Direct Deposit into our bank account. Our bank details will be displayed in the shopping cart after you confirm your order (the last step). Or
  • Via the PayPal online payment system. You can pay using your debit card, credit card or bank account details. PayPal is an easy, fast and secure way to buy online and you do not need to have a PayPal account to make a payment with PayPal. This is a free service for you to use.

Please Note: Your order will not begin to be processed until your payment (and images) have been received by our office.

Is it safe to pay online via PayPal?

Yes, paying online with PayPal is extremely safe, its fraud prevention keeps your information safe and secure during the transaction. Can I purchase a gift voucher for a friend or family member?

Certainly can. Please click here to email us your request. As soon as payment is received we will post it to you or directly to your friend on your behalf.

We can accept direct deposit into our bank account, or a payment via PayPal ~ please click here to request our banking/PayPal details from us… and don’t forget to let us know your gift voucher requirements (i.e. quantity of cards required, or Gift Voucher amount you’d like to spend, your loved ones’ name and details, along with your details in this email to us.
